Party Fun Action Committee

Here’s the comedy duo and hip-hop group, PFAC (Party Fun Action Committee) on the Definitive Jux Label. Yes, home of Aesop, El, Murs, Lif, Cannibal, Calm Pete, RJD2, Cage, Hangar 18, & More. It’s actually surprising that they are even near there calibur. They are more like those two white guys that make in fun of rap by wearing funny get-ups, their hats backward, and rapping about homework.

They’ve only had one album, Let’s Get Serious, that is a satire of an actual hip-hop album. The two men behind the committee, are Blockhead & Jer. Blockhead is actually a well-known producer who has done songs for Aesop & Cage. The thing about their album (if you haven’t heard of it, it did come out in 2003) is that it’s just one big satire where two white record execs. listen to a box of demo tapes and rate every song. Each song attacks a genre of hip-hop music.
