The Mayor of Ithaca, Carolyn Peterson has made May 8th, Grateful Dead Day in honor of the 30th anniversary of one of their infamous show that took place on that day back in 1977 at Cornell University’s Barton Hall. To celebrate this event, Dark Star Orchestra will do a recreation of the legendary concert. Tickets for the show are on sale for $24.50 at www.stateofithaca.com. Who is this Carolyn Peterson and why can’t she be my mayor? Forget bills on same-sex marriage lets enforce this nation-wide.
I’ve never been a fan of Tom Green, the actor. He always looks stupid and desperate in his films. I’ve always been a fan of his talk show that used to be on MTV. It wasn’t the stupid dead animal humping stunts he would do, I just found him simply funny. He’s a likeable, real guy, not the over the top guy, just that funny guy in the group. That guy that makes a fool of himself just to make everyone laugh and will never back out on a dare. The Tom Green Show was a really good show despite a lot of negative feedback it received. I think it’s pretty great he went back to his strengths and started the online Tom Green show. Anyway, this is a clip of Too $hort (one of my favorites) on his show.
