Meet the oldest rock band, the Zimmers with their cover of The Who’s “My Generation”. The lead, Alf, is 90 and i’m positive will be humped by 20 year old blondes in no time. The Zimmers will be featured in a BBC documentary to air in May of this year. Tim Samuels, the man behind the project, has been all over Britain recruiting members of the group (who even go to 99 and 100 years of age), by finding lonely & isolated old folk who can’t leave their homes. The song is produced by Mike Hedges who has worked with U2, Dido, Cure, & more. I love old people.
