The Greatest Movies Should Have Shoes

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen Do The Right Thing by Spike Lee but it’s one of the greatest cult films ever made. It is hilarious, even the cheesy black and white jokes are funny. It was one of the first to do it so give it, its due props. The movie is really good and you should definitely see it if you can. Now there is a pair of “Do The Right Thing” Air Jordan Spizikes and they are the third Spizikes in tie with Spike Lee.The first was for 40 Acres and a Mule and then the second was inspired by Black History Month. I dig this movie so much, that I would buy the shoes even if they were completely wack. But I love them, I love them!

Get On The Good Foot is due to release their new collection of fitted caps. Each hat is themed to a particular style of one of the most recent sneakers released. Makes it easier eh? You know them guys you see always trying to match their polos with their shoes and shit? Exactly. And so far it looks like they’re doing a banging job picking some pretty fly sneaks to go along with them.

MSTRKRFT, the legendary dj/producer duo, electro mashers, are adding more to their name and rap sheet. Not only do they have their own shoe but now they are teaming up with Han Cholo (the infamous LA jewelry designer) and Puma to create gold replica pendants of their signature masks. Super, super limited, rumor is maybe only 10 being made.

Your Scene Sucks

How funny at the time (maybe two years ago?) was How To Dress Emo 2.0? It was perfect because Myspace had the sudden flood of Emo/Scene kids. And every little detail was perfect. Rob Dobi, the creator of HTD Emo 2.0 has created a new site, that is even better, Your Scene Sucks. It’s right on target with each character he disects. This time it’s not just the emos, no one is safe. The hipsters, the hardcores, the Pete Wentz Fans, everyone is a target this time.
