I took the day out of work because I’m sick and tired. Sick and tired of work and just plain ol’ sick and tired. In honor of this joyous occasion I’ve made this Sleeeep Mixtape:
This box can be located on the F Train platform at 2nd Avenue. Inside there is free goods such as razors, toothbrushes, apples and other things. Good idea or bad? Razors and apples though? Doesn’t that sound like a bad children’s story in the making.
The New York International Auto Show this weekend is causing a stir over a particular exhibit, Taxi ‘07. In honor of the 100th birthday of the taxi, many taxis have been transformed for the future and will be displayed on exhibit. Some of them featured will be The world’s Fastest Taxi, All Electric Taxi, and the CNG-Fueled Taxi. The IFC Center will be showing taxi movies (Mona Lisa, Night on Earth, my personal favorite Taxi Driver, and more). The Empire State Building will also be yellow for this event.
This is a billboard created by Hell, a pizza delivery service in New Zealand. Doesn’t this look like something that would be found in the US? Says a whole lot doesn’t it? If this is the type of advertising they use, I could see how it would catch quite a few glances. If you do in fact go to New Zealand, you can choose from pizzas with references to the seven deadly sins and places like Limbo and Pandemonium. So basically it is the Bush equivalent of the Pizza World. What a great idea!
We all have seen the Human Giant clips and know it’s coming to MTV, April 5th. But now on iTunes, you can get the whole first episode for free on your iPod. The episode entitled ‘Mind Explosion’, is 19.35 minutes long. I know the first episode features the Shutterbugs Talent Agency that has been around the internet for some time, the camping sequence, the introduction of the sugar plums, the attacking dog, the mind explosion, the time machine, & the mother and son moving team. The first episode also features Ghostface Killah and Linda Cardellini.
