Before ‘Monty are I’ was on Stolen Transmission, even before they were just ‘Monty’ they were ‘Monty’s Fan Club’ and they were one of my favorite local bands. They have a whole new sound and a whole new fan base. There was a time when I would see them all the time at local gigs and worshipped the ground they walked on. I still have my old school Monty’s Fan Club tees. No matter what they become, they will still be good old Monty’s Fan Club to me. Monty are I is an entirely different band.
